Floo Powder

A shiny powder usually kept in a pot or a box on the mantelpiece in Wizarding households, Floo Powder allows witches and wizards to travel within seconds from one fireplace to another in the Ministry-managed Floo Network. It makes the flames harmless. If you have errands to run, you can step into the fire and be carried to your destination-or if you just want to speak with someone, you can kneel on the hearth with your head in the fireplace and communicate literally face-to-face. Throw a pinch of Floo Powder, available at Diagon Alley shops, into the fireplace-whether the fire is lit or not-and green flames will leap up, meaning it is safe to enter. These flames feel warm rather than hot. Once inside the fireplace, clearly recite the address or house name you wish to travel to, and you will be transported.

[ ]Quidditch Stadium
Most of the time this stadium is left alone, empty and used by kids as a playground but once five-six years, this stadium houses a crowd of wizards and witches as they come to see the World Cup match. People set up tents fully accommodated or just camping tents for those with less money. Fires burn all night as people wait for the game of the year to begin.

[ ]Parington Lane
This used to be a muggle hot spot but after a few incidents with the death eaters during the war, they are afraid to come up here. Young wizards and witches have claimed it as theirs. They come up for some romance or even just a quiet place to talk things out. Even older wizards and witches have started coming up here.

[ ]Ministry of Magic
The simplest way to enter the head of the British Wizarding world is through a run-down telephone booth in the middle of London. Dial 62442. State your name a buisness and pin on your tag if you're a guest. The booth will take you down to the level closest to the London streets. The level number gets higher as you go farther down into the ground.

[ ]Knockturn Alley
Stumbling around Diagon Alley's back streets, you may find the entrance to Knockturn Alley. It consists of only a rotted fence that makes an alley seem like a dead end, but if you know where to tap, you can come right in. Now that Voldemort has gone, the alley has become more closed off and private. It is a dark place that sells many things relating to the Dark Arts. The only known shop is Borgin & Burkes. There isn't much sun in these tight streets so it is a popular spot for vampires. Also since Voldemort's demise, houses have sprung up in the back corners and side roads.

[ ]Daily Prophet
The Daily Prophet building appears to muggles as an abandoned ice cream parlour off the main street, near the Ministry's phone booth. It is only three stories high, offices covering the inside space. The offices of those in charge are on the third floor while the presses are on the bottom. The newest writers are given the offices near the presses until someone newer comes but most people are on the second floor.

In the south of London, Churling spans a few dozen miles of land. It is the worst of the city. There are a few run down muggle schools still in operation. A group of wizards still roam around here, some good, some bad. Some of the muggles aren't safe to be around here.
