Level 8
Atrium The ceiling is bright blue with inlaid gold. In the center is a fountain of a wizard, witch, goblin, elf, and centaur. Lining the right wall are fireplaces for people leaving via the Floo network, while the left side is for those arriving. On the far wall is the entrance for people using the phone booth. Any guest must be searched and their wands checked. Once that is done, you may enter through the golden gates.

Level 9
Department of Mysteries This is the floor where all the secrets, the unknowns, and the plain spookiest of all magical things are stored. It's torch-lit, silent, black and ominous; and as you step from the corridor into a circular room with a dozen doors set all around the walls, you know something isn't quite right. The moment the door is shut, there is a rumbling and a sense of movement in the dark, and the walls rotate.
