[R u l e s]
[>] Dealing With Members
[1.] Always respect your fellow members. We're all here because we have something in common: We love Harry Potter and we love to write!
[2.] Keep out-of-character fights in PMs. Don’t go around advertising your argument.
[3.] One account per person. All your characters must be kept on one account. Seriously.
[>] Creating A Character
[1.] Do not create a canon character or a descendent of a canon character.
[2.] Don't give your character any special abilities without PMing an admin about it first. This includes werewolves, vampires, parselmouths, etc.
[3.] No student below their seventh year may have an animagus form and no student below third year may have a shaped patronus.
[4.] Be realistic! Every character has flaws, so include them in the bio and your RPing.
[>] Character Limitations
[1.] Each member is allowed 1-2 professors, depending on what the staff think is reasonable.
[2.] Each member is allowed 1-3 Ministry officials depending on what the staff think is reasonable.
[3.] There is no limit on how many characters you can have but you must keep them active.
[4.] [For more, plead your case with a staff member. If you are staff, talk to a different staff member.]
[>] Dealing With Posting
[1.] Killing another character is strictly prohibited unless you are in agreement with the owner of the character you will be eliminating. Alert an admin if your character is killed!
[2.] Though kissing and hugging is perfectly fine, be certain that you mark any thread that would be considered sexually explicit with a '***' in the title, so that other members know what they're about to read.
[3.] Posts should always be made in 3rd person (as in not 1st person).
Bad: I walked to the window.
Good: Bryce walked to the window.
[4.] No double posting, and every in-character post must be at least two decent-sized paragraphs in length. (Remember, a sentence contains a subject, a verb, and begins with a capital letter, and a paragraph has at least three sentences.) Also, post in an abc-abc fashion; there are no exceptions to this rule! If a member wants to skip their turn, they can simply post saying 'Pass' and the thread can go on. Your post is subject to getting deleted if you go out of turn.
[5.] Keep cursing to a minimum. It is not at all pleasant to see the F-word between every word in a sentence.
[6.] Please make sure every post is at least 200 words long, or two good paragraphs. This is not difficult, I promise.
