¤ HEIGHT... 5’4”
¤ MEDICAL CONDITIONS... Perry has a sleep disorder similar to insomnia where the more tired she is the less able she is to fall asleep. She has prescription medication to force her body to fall asleep and requires an alarm or someone to wake her up or else she sleeps up to twelve hours. Any more than twelve and she either wakes up or depending upon her sleep lately has a slight possibility of falling into a minor coma. Perry also has dissociative amnesia in that the death of her mother was so traumatic she has no memory at all of the day it happened. Lastly Perry has a rare hereditary disease which causes extremely low fertility and eventual death. She didn’t care to learn the name of it but she knows that although she seems normal and healthy now in her late twenties to mid thirties she will begin having frequent seizures and eventual heart failure by the time she is forty at the latest. She is allergic to tomatoes.
¤ APPEARANCE... Perry is a cute young woman. She has layered orange-red hair that is naturally straight with a bit of a wave. She prefers to wear her hair down and lets it grow about two inches past her shoulders. She has coy, soft, seeking light blue eyes that in one moment portray a sense of picturesque innocence and in the next a devious mastermind. She has light peach colored lips and fair to pale skin with a hint of freckles. She burns easily and so even with sun lotion Perry doesn’t spend too much time outside. She has the body of a feminine child. She is still growing a bit taller but at this point she is petite. Still Perry is beginning to grow into her feminine figure and though her body isn’t obvious or voluptuous it isn’t as if she has no curves to speak of.
Perry prefers to wear young and hip clothes. She likes the occasional cap, fashionable purses, nice coats, t-shirts with witty phrases and cute shoes. She loves to look “classy” in white button up blouses, brown vests, and nice slacks over flats. Most of the time Perry will wear either long sleeved striped tops or colorful spaghetti strap tanks, yoga pants or jeans, and flats of some kind. Although Perry would like to be taller she remembers her mother telling her “Never wear heels, baby, if you do then you won’t be able to run away from all the badness.” So Perry never wears heels and usually thinks flats are cuter than tennis shoes.
¤ WAND... 13” – Gum tree – Dittany Stalk
¤ POSITION... Hogwarts Student: Gryffindor
¤ PATRONUS FORM... N/A
¤ LIKES...
Dancing, Jazz, flats, climbing, laughing, reading, sunshine, snow, cuddling, boys, sashes, purses, fashion, big cities, parties, pudding, biting her lip, chapstick, sunscreen, and sundresses.
¤ DISLIKES...
Thunderstorms, uncontrolled fire, doctors, psychiatrists, too many rings, black nail polish, glow sticks, thin coats in the cold, awkward personalities, wallflowers, cats, and being shuffled around.
¤ FEARS... Perry is afraid of dying even though she acts indifferent to it on the outside. She is also afraid of ending up like her father after her mother died. And she really doesn’t want to be alone even though she pushes people away.
¤ SPECIAL ABILITIES... Perry has ballet training but as she doesn’t speak of this to anyone it is only relevant in her gracefulness and knowledge of the activity.
¤ WEAKNESSES... Being completely alone. As in being lost or having no support and having no one to go home to. Much as she argues with Jessie she would rather have Jessie than no one at all.
¤ PERSONALITY... Perry is sassy. Don’t think for a split second that she won’t blow her bubble gum in your face, roll her eyes as you’re talking, tilt her head at your ignorance, or just plain walk off because you aren’t worth her time. She isn’t all that subtle either. In your face kind of this-is-what-I-think-deal-with it little girl. Oh, and she hates being called a little girl, so don’t press your luck. She is often late for appointments but she will follow the idea of respect. If you respect her time, she will try to respect hers, and if you don’t respect her time, don’t except much in return. She is witty and occasionally sarcastic and quite mischievous.
Perry will find your weakness. Allergic to cotton? Guess what she’ll wear if you dislikes you? Don’t like P!nk? Perry just bought her new CD, wanna hear it? Can’t catch sarcasm? She wouldn’t dream of using it against you. Can’t handle criticism? Too bad. Have a crush on someone? Well… you get the idea. Perry wants to know her enemies, and for a girl who refuses to make friends the whole world seems like a battleground. She isn’t evil, and she doesn’t go around alienating people for the sake of it, but she just might do it for fun. She is witty and curious. She likes clues, riddles, finding things out about others, and she is good at math and science.
In class Perry doesn’t say much. She is average academically though she does excel in things that require a lot of analyzing and a critical eye. She doesn’t volunteer, but she really isn’t shy, Drawing attention to herself would get her noticed. Being noticed tends to lead to friends or enemies. Friends are not her goal, and enemies are a liability. She is respectful enough to avoid wasting all her free time being in any sort of detention, but she is also known to skip classes or assemblies.
Although Perry doesn’t specialize in any sort of social science she does like to read. Perhaps because she so dislikes being around people lately she turns to books more often than not. She does like to party, to flirt, to tease, to catch an eye, but lately that has ceased. She enjoys causing trouble, but not for trouble’s sake, it is just fast paced and fast paced is fun. Perry likes to know a lot of people, but with all the death around her she has shut herself off from most people. She probably wouldn’t reject friendliness, but it would take a while for her to return it in any genuine manner.
Perry is what one might call “bisexual-ish.” She isn’t bisexual, pansexual, asexual, demisexual, or homosexual. She is however straight. She finds girls attractive but they don’t turn her on. However she wouldn’t turn one down is she liked them. Perry likes attractive men, eye candy, and enjoys having a boy without necessarily being in a relationship. She’s the “exclusive mistress” sort. But she isn’t against committing, if she really liked someone. If a girl actually liked Perry, flirting with her, made her intentions clear, and asked Perry out, Perry would likely say yes. She doesn’t innately like girls, but she wouldn’t be morally against it or naturally opposed if she liked that particular girl.
Perry isn’t a thief, she isn’t a liar. She isn’t a bad person. She is hurt and feels defeated by life sometimes. She wants to enjoy life, and hates being told what to do. If she can be happy she’s going to go what it takes to get there. She doesn’t like embarrassment but she can endure it. However as she already feels a bit of an outsider because of her personality and being made fun of would probably hurt her. She hates being treated unfairly, and positions of authority are not a license to be rude. Respect is earned, not given with a title. To earn Perry’s respect you must treat her with some courtesy. When she disrespects people she does not hold them to treating her like a princess, they may disrespect her as well, it is only fair. But if she is acting appropriate and someone speaks down to her she will react accordingly. Friend, upperclassmen, teacher, boss, it doesn’t matter, she’ll tell you off to your face if she gets angry enough.

¤ HISTORY...Ramona Jordan and Peter Thomas met in college and after dating for three years Peter finally got the idea in his head that Ramona wouldn’t stand for his commitment issues any longer. So they had an engagement of all of three months and eloped. Their families weren’t ideal and they never even communicated so the two started fresh. When the couple hit twenty five Ramona gave birth to their daughter Persephone.
Persephone had a relatively nice little life living in Seattle with her classic and responsible mother and her rash thinking and fun loving father. Ramona put Persephone into ballet when she was three and the girl trained hard to be a beautiful little ballerina while Ramona wrote children’s novels and Peter was the bartender of a downtown jazz bar. Persephone always had trouble sleeping but she didn’t learn until she was about twelve that it was a strange form of insomnia, but by then she had far more important things to worry about.
When Persephone started first grade it became apparent that little five year olds were not interested in trying to, learn how to pronounce such a complicated name and so she went by Perry from then on. As Perry got a bit older her mother started having seizures and by the time she was ten Ramona was confined to a hospital bed. When Perry was ten her mother died. The next few years were a mess. Peter was irresponsible and let his daughter run amuck. When she was twelve she found out about her special insomnia and that she had the same hereditary condition of her mother. She also discovered how difficult it would be for her to have children. Consequently she quit ballet because although she showed great promise Perry no longer wanted anything to do with it.
When Perry was almost fifteen her father left the bar her worked at to drive home but with impressively bad traffic and rain he ended up swerving off the road and died that night. Perry had spent the last three years doing only what she wanted and as she slowly started to learn about her wizarding powers things only got worse without the only person she trusted alive. Perry scoffed at responsibility and adults while making her own choices constantly. Then Perry met Claudia who was responsible but fun. She was enjoyable, exciting, compassionate, and reasonable. Perry took to the thirty year old and after a faster than usual adoption process and she became Perry Addison.
Perry and Claudia moved to Kansas and much as Perry disliked it she managed to find things to do. However after a year of living with Claudia the woman died in a house fire. Perry was shaken and confused. Everyone had died and she didn’t know where she would go. Yet again she was completely alone. Then she met Jessie Twight who came as Claudia’s best friend. Jessie and Perry had met once before on a visit but they hadn’t spoken much. Now Perry hated her. This was to be the woman Perry would live with. A strict and boring adult who Perry knew not to start liking. That ended poorly. However Jessie was magical like Perry and within two months of Claudia’s death Jessie took Perry back to her home in London, England so that Perry could attend the magical school of Hogwarts. Perry has yet to form any bonds with anyone that she likes and has mixed feelings about being so immersed in magic and yet so amateur. Hopefully everything will get better.
