NAME Myeira "Mya" Olopakis
AGE 24
GENDER Female
HEIGHT 5'6"
SEXUAL ORIENTATION Straight
APPEARANCE Myeira is an average height young woman with a skinny build. She isn't as curvy as she'd like to be, but hey, what can you do? She has very light, very fair skin that never tans, only burns, but she has never had acne, so for that she is thankful. Her hair is long, thick, shiny and wavy, and fiery like her personality. She has big, light blue eyes that brighten her face. Her nose is cute and pointy, and she has a wide smile with the occasional dimple.
TRAITS/PERSONALITY
Myeira has a quite fiery personality. While quite friendly and energetic, she can be very hotheaded. She has a short fuse and is easily irritated. She has no problem telling people exactly what she thinks. An optimist would see her as honest. A pessimist would probably say she is painfully honest. Sometimes it works to her benefit, and sometimes not. Myeira is a hard worker. When given a job to do, she will start immediately, and works hard and efficiently. She is a fast learner and is good at what she does.
While Myeira appears to be very tough, she finds herself in love too easily. When she falls, she falls hard, and sometimes for a very extended period of time. It is easy for her to trust people and see the good in them, which can also be a bad thing. She has learned the hard way not to trust most people, and while she knows that, she still ends up wearing too much heart on her sleeve in front of the wrong people. This has gotten her into some trouble in the past.

HISTORY
Myeira's parents, as far as she was concerned, had a healthy relationship. But she was young, so she saw the world through rose colored glasses, hence her state of utter shock when they divorced the year before she would have started at Hogwarts.
When she started at Hogwarts, Myeira was sorted into Gryffindor, for which she was proud. Both of her parents had been Gryffindors as well. She was still not quite over her parents' divorce, and felt very alone in Gryffindor, for she felt like the only one whose parents weren't still together, at least in her group of friends.
Myeira always had a close-knit group of friends at Hogwarts. It was a group comprised of three girls and three boys. They did everything together. Two of them were in Ravenclaw, but they still managed to find time to be together. On Hogsmeade trips, they walked as a huge clan. Other people liked them, as well.
Myeira played quidditch--she was a keeper, and a very good one. Her friends were all involved in various groups and clubs, only one of the other ones being on the quidditch team.
Myeira never thought that anything bad would happen to her or her friends--until sixth year. It was Halloween, and everyone was having a good time at the feast. Myeira and her friends decided to peel off and drink the firewhiskey they had found. There was quite a bit of it. All of them in a drunken stupor, they decided to go out on the grounds and play some three-on-three quidditch. Two of them ended up in a friendly tussle for the quaffle, and ended up flying straight into the Whomping Willow. Both of them died.
This was a wake-up call for Myeira and the other three friends. They all ended up drifting apart by seventh year, though they were still cordial with one another, and they had the sort of connection that no group of friends could overcome.
After Hogwarts, Myeira went on to work in Diagon Alley's Apothecary. She'd always been good at potions, and hoped someday to open up her own apothecary, but figured she needed to start somewhere.

Lucy's brain was beginning to doze off when she heard the tinkling of the front door and the familiar head of short hair walked in, looking stylish as always. Lucy grinned as her best friend sat down on the opposite side of the booth.
"Sorry, I was on the phone with Oscar, just kind of lost track of time, So what's up?"
Lucy waved her friend away. "Don't sweat it," she said. "I've left you hanging for more than five minutes before. You owe me still." She waved at Marv, who was serving another table. He nodded and held up a finger. So Lucy addressed her friend's other question. "Not a lot has been going on with me," she said, twisting her dark hair around a finger. "Mostly cheerleading practice. It's been really crazy, though. Sophia's been working us really hard. But hey, competition's coming up." Marv started to walk over. "How about you?"
"What can I get you ladies?" Marv interrupted, smiling as usual.
"Pink lemonade for me," Lucy said.
Marv nodded, knowing their usual orders but still waiting for Maddy's. He never needed to write them down. For an old man, his memory was sharp. Lucy hoped her memory was as sharp as Marv's when she was older. Alzheimer's ran in her family, though, so she doubted it. But it would be nice. She supposed if she kept healthy like she'd been doing--for the most part--it wouldn't be so difficult.
Doesn't matter now, anyway, Lucy thought, looking down at her bright pink nail polish. She felt fake. It was nice to have a friend like Maddy to know who she truly was, especially this year. Since it was their last year of high school, Lucy felt like she only had to get through one more year before she never had to see any of these people again. She was a smart girl, and her family had money. She could pretty much go to any college she could get into, which would be nice.
Maybe I'll go to Oxford. Get out of the country completely. Start all over. Lucy sighed. As much as it looked like she loved what she did in high school, she really wished she could be more like Maddy, and not care. Maybe if she hadn't started off Freshman year as a dumb girl who thought she had to fit in, she could be. But maybe then her friendship with Maddy wouldn't be as special.
